A small gallery in Denpasar that ships

Bali is full of paintings and most of them are copies. Walk any tourist strip and you will find the same six compositions repeated in every shop, painted at speed by people who are paid almost nothing for them.

That is not what this is. We work with 4 painters who make original work, slowly, and who are not interested in producing the same canvas twice. There are 11 paintings available on this site right now. When one sells, it is gone — there is no second copy, no print run and no reissue.

The artists set their own prices. We add a flat gallery margin on top, and that margin pays for the photography, the packing materials, the crate builder, the freight forwarder and the insurance. Nobody here is taking half of a painter's work.

We are based in Denpasar. Everything is photographed in the artist's own studio, packed by us, and handed to the courier by us. If something arrives damaged — it happens, rarely — we deal with it directly rather than sending you to a claims form.

Buying with confidence

Every piece comes with a signed certificate naming the artist, the title, the year, the medium and the dimensions. Payment goes through PayPal, so your card details never touch our servers, and you are covered by PayPal's own buyer protection on top of our 14-day return policy.

If you want something specific

Commissions are possible but limited — each artist takes only a handful a year. Tell us the wall, the size, the light and roughly what you have in mind, and we will tell you honestly whether it is something they would do well. If it isn't, we will say so rather than take the money.
